World War II comes alive every Fall at the Averasboro Civil War Battlefield, near beautiful Dunn, NC.
Dunn NC was the home of General William C. Lee, the founder of the US Army Airborne and lends a valued History in North Carolina as sight of one of the Souths pivital Civil War Battles.
The Annual Living History Event helps celebrate the Valued History of the WW II Veterans in Eastern NC.
The Annual Living History Event and Reenactment is held at the Battlefield Museum, located on NC 82, Exit 71, I-95, follow signs to the Museum.
Admission is $5.00 per person (WWII Veterans Free)

The Youth Basic Training mini-camp is open to everyone age 8 to 13 years old and will consist of a basic introduction into the life of a World War II Soldier. The youngster will be dressed for the impressions and
will learn what it was to be a soldier in the greatest war known to man.
The mini-camp costs a $4.00 Donation and is fun for the whole family to watch.
There are also Military Vehicle rides and chances to fire blank fire military weapons for an aditional fee.
